Properties and use of LB Agar Biologix

LB Agar Biologix is ​​an easy-to-prepare medium – simply dissolve 40g of powder in 1 liter of distilled water, heat to boiling, and then sterilize in an autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Once prepared, the medium is characterized by a stable pH of 7.0 ± 0.2 (25°C) and very good parameter repeatability, which translates into reliable and reproducible culture results. The product provides adequate nutrition for bacteria and supports their rapid growth under standard incubation conditions, most often at 36 ± 1°C. In everyday laboratory work, it is also worth using cell culture test plates, which facilitate the conduct of biological research and testing.
